Cookies for a Cause: The Heart of FFNL
I've always found joy and fulfillment in serving others. I'm an Enneagram 2 (if that means anything to you) and haven't spent a single day of my life not knowing Jesus. The combination of those two pieces of information lay a strong foundation for acts of service, but truth be told, it wasn't until my family walked through a life-rocking, heart-breaking, earth-shattering, God-interveining situation that I began to follow through with the blessing that is giving back.
Jeff and my oldest son, Holt, is a cancer survivor. At 2.5 he began what would come to be an approximate 2 year journey of dizzying questions, scary answers, faithful hope, frustrating setbacks, and monumental celebrations where all along the way countless people supported us spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Now that we are on the other side of childhood cancer, I simply cannot stop myself from trying my best to serve others and give back.
Below you will find an overview of the fundraisers I and the FFNL community have conducted so far. It moves me each time I think about the way God has allowed me to use my tiny business to bless others. 100% of the proceeds raised through my CFC fundraisers go to the families in need. What a blessing, right?! My prayer is that Cookies for a Cause will continue to be the heartbeat of my business and that we will be able to bless an unthinkable amount of families in the years to come!
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

Awareness Video 3 of 3
In the last video installment before we meet the family we will be raising money for, we will be talking about chemotherapy and side effects. This is by far the hardest topic to cover, but it is incredibly necessary to discuss in an open and honest manner.
Once you're diagnosed with cancer, you're never done.
Awareness Video 2 of 3
In this second of three installments, we talk about the harsh reality that once you receive a cancer diagnosis, you're never really done with cancer. And the thought of being "healed"? What do the doctors think about that? Watch to find out.
Not all cancer patients look the same.
Awareness Video 1 of 3
As we get ready to meet the family that will benefit from your generosity this month, I felt it was important to share 3 important insights. Here is the first one: The image that comes to mind when you think of a child with cancer.
